7 Planets for iPhone – Very good and Challenging Puzzle Game! Nice review on Greek site (use google translate) http://www.iappsreviews.gr/7-planets Text from Google translate (with little correction): In AppStore now are so many good games that you really sometimes don’t know what to choose! The small company Toma & Puzak introduced quietly a very good puzzle game the 7 Planets which we present today because they managed to keep us interest on its beautiful graphics, but especially with the high level of difficulty, which is legitimate, since games are getting easier as a result of heavy fast. The game is based on good old Ziv Zav game that had appeared in 1985 (when;;;). On the screen we see some balls that symbolize different planets. There are 7 colors with 4 bullets in each color. The aim of the game is to place the balls by color, as the table shows. This seemed easy but in practice proved quite difficult! Very reminiscent of the old mind games (such as the cube of Rubik) and requires real thought from the player to reach the solution. The graphics are beautiful, without exaggeration, the sound is adequate but austere and handling and movement is at a high level with easy and simple movements. The game is priced at 0.79 euros and is already in our iPhone. We like to support small and independent developers who really are the heart of the AppStore, offering small and quality applications. 7 Planets: Align The Colored Wooden Balls in Rows in this Challenging Board Game Port http://www.appsontapp.com/7-planets/   7 Planets (iPhone/iPod touch) is an electronic version of a classic Croatian board game known as Ziv Zav. The developer, Tomislav Puzak, wanted to bring this game to iOS devices so players around the world can enjoy the logic puzzler. When gamers open 7 Planets, they are presented with a screen of mixed wooden balls. The goal of the game is to roll the seven colorful wooden balls around on the screen to align them in the correct color-coordinated rows. When gamers move one ball, all the balls in the row or column move along with it and are stopped by the wall. Players achieve a high score by completing the game quickly and in as few moves as possible. 7 Planets is quite simple to play and the controls are intuitive. Use your finger to slide the balls into position, and return to the main menu or pause the game at any time by pressing two fingers on the screen. Although it all may sound quite simple, the game play is challenging and requires players to use their brain power. It reminds me a lot of a Rubik’s cube, but more challenging and fun to play. Two game modes are included in the game play: classic and expert. Players must play classic mode for 7 minutes to unlock the expert mode, which adds obstacles to make it more challenging. A third mode called Seasons is expected to arrive soon as well as a multiplayer option. 7 Planets includes over 10 Game Center achievements and a...

7 Planets game on BoardGameGeek

7 Planets game is mentioned on BoardGameGeek site (best site on the web for board games) in iOS Board Games blog. “7 Planets is a logic board game from Tomislav Puzak and some indie developers in Croatia. The app is based on board game they invented in 1985 called Ziv Zav. The object of the game is to roll wooden balls all around the screen in order to get them into their correct rows. The trick, however, is that when one ball is moved, all of the balls in that row or column move with it until they are stopped by a wall. Your score is based on how long and how many moves it takes. The update to this app includes a new expert mode after the previous update included achievements, classic mode, visual and UI improvements and various bug fixes. ” http://boardgamegeek.com/blogpost/10041/ios-news-slitherine-announcements-agricola-tricky For all of you who like board games visit http://boardgamegeek.com/blog/164/ios-board-games for up to date news about board games on iOS and Android...
